Time, architecture, the smell of memories. The memory of smell. An alarm keeps ringing beside an empty bed. Inside an old building, dreams pass through bodies, and bodies pass through old corridors.

On two different mornings, two strangers enter an old house in Damaskus - carrying sharp tools. A tradition, thousands of years old, is about to be executed. There is a little boy holding his mothers hand while watching.

Purple is a meditation on the broken chronology of endings, where fragments of memory, desire, and absence manifest as colors. Moving through these fragments, the film lingers between holding on and letting go where what is gone continues to leave its color behind.
